Start the celebrations with a wonderful selection of canapés. Smoked salmon with lemon cream cheese make for the perfect first course, whilst a classic prawn cocktail is the ideal party starter.
As we move through the tiers, handcrafted finger sandwiches greet you with their sophisticated look. We simply couldn't have missed the coronation chicken - a dish inspired by the Queen’s coronation in 1953, paired with our rustic curried mayonnaise.
The royal spread continues with flavours of mature cheddar with homemade onion chutney and cured ham with wholegrain mustard.
And there is more! A crunchy cucumber sandwich with a touch of salted butter perfectly accompanies the savouries.
Flaky and crumbly, our scones are lovingly crafted by our network of local bakers. They’re served with strawberry preserve, freshly-picked strawberries and Somerset clotted cream. It's all a truly regal affair!
On the cake menu, there is a fluffy elderflower drizzle and a traditional Victoria sponge. Soft coffee buttercream finishes off the coffee and walnut cake and our lemon slice strikes the perfect balance between sweet and zesty.
Toast to Her Majesty with a glass of locally-produced elderflower pressé or tie the party with a cup of freshly-brewed English tea.
